After a three and a half year rebuild Hurricane IIB, G-HHII,
flew again on 27 January from North Weald. Part of the Hangar 11
collection owned by Peter Teichman, the aircraft was rebuilt by Hawker
Restorations of Suffolk and will be flown by Peter at airshows this
summer. A full scale Hurricane model, in 249 Squadron livery, has been
mounted on a pillar at the former fighter base, North Weald.
