Editorial
At the AGM
the future of the
Association was addressed by Members. The general feeling was that it's
a very special Association and we should be careful not to dilute the
Hawker-people aspect, but also must not let it die.
The Committee will give a lot of thought to the conundrum but,
meanwhile, do as our President said: all of us must seek out new
potential members from old colleagues who have not yet joined. Working
Members could also make the Association better known at BAES,
Farnborough. If we all spread the word we will
succeed.
My thanks to those who contributed to this Newsletter and to
those who
let me know that they enjoy each edition of the Newsletter. So, please
continue to send me your memories of 'Hawkers'. It doesn't
matter how
rough your piece is; it's my job to sort it out. So please, get out
your 'Biros' or settle at your keyboards then send them in.
