The much praised Kingston Aviation Centenary Exhibition has been expanded to include even more photographs and information about the Richmond Road aircraft factory and people who worked in Kingston's aircraft industry. This is particularly relevant to Tudor Drive and north Kingston in general where many of the large workforce lived.
The exhibition will be declared open Saturday 16 February at 2.30pm by Councillor David Cunningham.
There will be slideshow short talks each subsequent afternoon with many rare photographs from the earliest days of the factory in 1918 to 1992 when it closed. (2pm and 3.30pm)
