Hawker Association Summer Barbecue 2022 Details update 9May22

Members wishing to attend, should book and pay at the meeting on May 11 or send their cheque for £18, made out to The Hawker Association, to Ken Batstone at 42 Kings Road, WALTON ON THAMES, KT12 2RA. For any queries, you can phone Ken on 01932 229938. Please send your payments by Saturday 4st June, so that the number of attendees can be given to the YMCA for catering purposes.

On Wednesday 8th of June, our annual Summer BBQ will be at YMCA Hawker, Lower Ham Road, Kingston upon Thames, KT2 5BH (the usual venue).

The menu will be similar to previous years (ie Bangers, Burgers, Chicken with a Burger Bun and assorted salads followed by suitable dessert[s] and finishing with tea and coffee; The cost this year will be higher than last year (due to fuel costs, transport costs, the EU, the Ukraine, Covid etc. etc.) at £18 per person.. On the day the usual charge of £2 for the Hall and Raffle will apply.

It is suggested that Members and Guests should arrive between 12 and 12.15  for a noggin and natter (the Bar will be open) before the food is served at a nominal 13:00.
