At 2:00 pm on the second Wednesday of each month there will be a meeting, normally at the YMCA Hawker Centre (was the Hawker Sports and Social Club), Lower Ham Road, Kingston on Thames, unless indicated otherwise. | There is a well stocked bar, and good inexpensive lunches and snacks are available. We hope members will avail themselves of these. There is plenty of free parking space. |

Sir
Colin Chandler was, among many other things, our General
Manager when we were the K-B Division of BAe, and is now Chairman of
easyJet. Unfortunately David Scrimgeour is unable to give his talk on the Tripart Evaluation Squadron on Wednesday 14 March. John Farley, former Chief Test Pilot BAe Dunsfold, will talk on several of the 45 VSTOL aircraft (excluding helicopters) that have flown over the last 45 years; only three have entered service. Vernon Lidstone was Kingston's Commercial Director, retiring from business to become ordained and has worked for 15 years in the Prison Service. Cdr Adrian Orchard is the CO of 800 NAS at Cottesmore. |
RAF
Museum London (Hendon) visit, Multimap.
Meet at the entrance to the 'Milestone to Flight Hall' at 12:30pm.It is
essential that Members who have not indicated their intention
to
visit on the list available at our meetings notify the Secretary

Chris Roberts, best known to us as a Chief Test Pilot at Dunsfold, had an earlier career in the RAF and a later one in civil aviation, hence the three front office jobs. Clive Rustin is best known to Hawkers through his test flying work at RAE Bedford and the A&AEE. |
